Kanro Inc. (referred to below as “Kanro” or as “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information appropriately by complying with applicable laws and regulations related to the protection of personal information and based on the basic policy regarding the protection of personal information (referred to below as "Basic Policy").

Kanro can acquire and use the personal information for achieving the following purposes.

Kanro will never disclose or provide your personal information held by us to any third party without your consent. However, we may disclose or provide personal information without your consent in the following cases:

  • Cases in which there is a need to protect the life, wellbeing, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person;
  • Cases in which there is a special need to improve public wellbeing or promote healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the identifiable person; or
  • Cases in which there is a need to cooperate with a national government organ, local government, or person entrusted thereby with performing the functions prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the identifiable person is likely to interfere with the performance of those functions.

4.Measures for Managing the Security of Personal Data

Kanro will endeavor to make every employee fully informed of the rules for proper handling of personal information through internal education and internal regulations.
Kanro will take appropriate security management measures in accordance with laws and regulations to prevent any loss, destruction, falsification, leak, etc. of personal information.

5.Inquiries Related to Personal Information

If you would like to make a request for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and deletion of your own personal information against Kanro, please make a request in accordance with the following instructions.

  • Please fill in the prescribed application form and submit to the Personal Information Inquiry Contact.
  • Please submit the documents or other items necessary for identification to be presented to confirm that the requests have been made by the individuals subject to the requested personal information or their due representative.

※If the representative is an attorney, please also indicate the attorney's registration number.

We will respond to such request after confirming that the requester is the principal or the principal’s representative.

When making a request for disclosure, or the like, please contact our Customer center.

6.Outsourcing

  • To achieve the purposes of use, Kanro may entrust the provided personal information to its outsourcing contractors. In such cases, Kanro will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over them to ensure the security management of the entrusted personal information, etc.
  • Kanro may provide personal information to third parties in foreign countries, as outsourcing contractors in the following cases:
    • In case the prior consent to provide personal data is given from the person to outsourcing contractors in foreign countries;
    • Concerning the handling of personal data, in case personal information is provided to an outsourcing contractor in a foreign country, where a personal information protection system, which is recognized to have equivalent to or higher standard than that in Japan, has established in protecting individual rights and interests; or
    • In case the information relating to the individual can be prepared in a way that makes it not possible to identify a specific individual.

  • Acquisition and purpose of Use of Cookies
